Before we even got to the shop we could smell the fish...we ordered the cod fish & chips and a beautiful battered scallops. Fabulous and fresh, no taste or smell of frying oil being reused over and over again, and certainly worth the visit. We bought the food and went to sit at a bench at a playground just meters... Great variety of fish and burgers. I loved the crab cakes. You must order take out from here. It is very busy on Saturday evenings but extremely efficient and worth the wait. Excellent!

What can I say. The queue n the place says it all really. I was camping with my son a few minutes up the road. And we decided to ditch the BBQ and go for a chippy. This didn't disappoint. Very quick. When there's a queue you still get a ticket and you can Gauge when you'll get yours. The... More

What can I say.......the best fish and chips in Northern Ireland, admittedly I haven't visited them all. But this one is consistently good, no pre-cooked food.... sitting out waiting for a customer. Order your food and salivate while waiting.

Had scallops for the first time from a chippy here. Overall very good food which wasn't too greasy or dry. Nowhere to sit and not beautifully decorated inside but the food was tasty.

Was in Portrush for a walk with my dog and realised it was almost a year ago since dining at Mortons. A detour on the way home brought me to this consistently great establishment. Managed to get there just before the main crowds arrived. Expect to wait 10-20 mins after placing your order as everything is cooked fresh. The fish... More

I love a good feed of fish and chips and Mortons did not disappoint. Full of locals getting a Friday night special/ Onion rings were outstanding, Cod was perfect, good batter and great hand cut chips. Sat by the harbour and had a lovely meal.
