Really like the Daily Grind, they do not serve chips, which I find refreshing. They serve lots of salad as garnish and use quite a bit of fruit in these. Their food is very delicious, never been disappointed. Only gripe, they offer free top ups of coffee, but charge for additional tea, which I think is a bit unfair.

Absolutely love this place, have only been in twice and have left both times with a pleasant taste in the mouth. Casual/basic-style lunch some how made to be extremely delicious and mouthwatering. This time I was nervous as I was bringing my critical aunt Fanny (who always finds fault in everything). We Both got chicken, ham and cheese toasties and... More

The Daily Grind is a great place for lunch. I.personally love no 8 sandwich..korma tuna, red onion on brown bread. All food is very fresh. Service is always excellent. Always enjoy our lunch here and would recommend a visit.

First class food at great prices! Lots of healthy options, but they're so well presented and tasty that you don't feel you're being good. ("Buy one get one Brie" is one of my favourites - the toasted onion bread, mmm! The generous fruit salads on the side are a delicious addition.) There are also some great traybakes if you have... At the top of the stairs in St. Patrick's avenue, Downpatrick is the best little restaurant for lunch. Don't be put off if there is a queue as it moves very quick. The lunch menu is very comprehensive, all very much salad based but so so mouth watering. If you are looking for a greasy chip not the place for... More

This restaurant is upstairs and can be very busy. Very often you have to queue for a table but that shows how popular it is and how good food is. We often call in for lunch. Our time for dining is short and we are usually in a hurry. The service is quick yet very friendly when you get seated.... More

Been several times around lunch time and it can then be very busy. It appears that a lot of local employees use here as a lunch venue so the service is very fast. In fact if there is a queue they will take your order whilst you wait for a seat and by the time a seat is available your... More
