Called in for a few Drinks...I hate having to ask for service, when the Bar is quiet, there are few other Customers and Staff walk past you whilst you are standing at the Bar with money in your Hand...2nd time this has happened. Fire was lovely, though.

Went in at 4pm so hungry and they said they would not serve food until 5pm so we got drinks and waited, by Ann or someone with dark hair. Then we were told at 5pm actually they had bookings and couldn't get us food til 6pm. Waste of time.

Hi Krd510, thank you for your review. Unfortunately the day you came in we were rather busy and had to close our Sunday Carvery half an hour early at 4. We would not then usually serve in our restaurant until 5 but we were fully booked right up to 6pm. I do apologise for the mix up and hope you... More

We were in O'Hares for a Christmas party night, a large group of 100+ of us, and to say we had a fantastic night is such an understatement! Great food, tasty and served piping hot, great service from every member of staff, and absolutely fantastic entertainment from such a talented DJ and all round floor filler Claire! Without a question... More

Every time we come to visit my Mum in Newcastle we come here. Again it was great food and even better customer service. We had the 2 courses for £15 with a free wine and all 5 of us loved all the dishes we were served. Service was excellent and both the guy and lady looked after us so well... More

What should have been a great meal was a disaster, The Bar was very olde Worlde (see the Photos). Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to hype. The bar does have a good reputation locally and this was my wife and I first visit despite living not too far away. The staff were great, the two we met were friendly... More

Watched a football match in the bar on Saturday. Very nice bar and good range of drink. Barman was very friendly. Other members of my family went into the restaurant for lunch during the match and were very complimentary about it. I have eaten here twice in the past and found the food very nice. The decor in the bar... More
