Reviewed yesterday NEW

Went for evening meal one Saturday in May. We got a seat near the bar which was a bad pick because there had been a match on so a lot of noise. Service was quick and pleasant. Food as always was good wholesome food. If I was to recommend anything would be to always book a table upstairs.

Decided to head to flaming crusts with the whole family 3 children. Beautiful treat and there was still plenty to spare, box up and take home. Would recommend to anyone who fancied treating the kids to pizza... Nice laid back for all....

We went with two friends last weekend and I was disappointed as we had heard nothing but excellent glowing reports. Menu looked interesting yet when served hadn't have that extra je ne sais quoi! I had pate which was tasty my husbands prawns were lovely however my friends seafood chowder was lacking in taste as was her husbands jack Daniels... More

It's in the main street and you can park easily within a few paces. Nothing particularly impressive to look at from the outside, but step through the doors and it's lovely. A traditional bar to the right with warm woodwork and great draft beer. In particulat they serve a local real ale, from the Whitewater Brewery "Roundstone". Beautiful beer and... More

This Bar - Restaurant was packed when we arrived on a Friday evening. The two are in separate areas, so the restaurant area was quiet and relaxing. A very good choice of delicious sounding dishes. We had the house curry and a Fish & Lentils dish- both were impressive, full of flavour. A nice place with country charm, good service... More

The Flaming Crust is part of the White Horse establishment, down the stairs from from the main entrance to the building. No disabled access. It's really cosy with a dark painted roof and a theme of wood and birdhouses. With white and turquoise tiles and a lovely mix of low lighting, leather seats and wooden tables with a hint of... More

Nicely decorated and a good and varied choice on the menu. The portions were excellent and the food was just perfect. My only minor complaint was that the staff were talking all the time to each other in view of us and we had to catch their attention. Please be more aware of your customers so that they don't have... The food was always pretty good, but the new owners have upped the ante and it is now excellent! Great atmosphere and efficient staff!
