Used voucher and well worth it - very attentive staff. Bit big and open for romantic meal but good wholesome food. Would have to seriously think about value if full price.

Have always eaten here when in Arbroath, won't be returning. Two of us ordered a main meal and two cups of tea. Meal arrived in record time but no sign of tea. Waitress had completely forgotten about it, asked for some hot water with it and received a very small pot of this. Imagine surprise when we were charged £1... More

Visited for lunch, not been to Arbroath for quite a few years so this lovely restaurant was new to us. The fish and chips were excellent, service was quick, efficient and friendly. Would highly recommend. Pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. Only reason for my four stars, was the choice of background music being played which wasn't very relaxing and the paintings... More

A relaxing visit for milkshakes turned into a late lunch. First dilemma was where to sit? Big, comfy, trendy corner sofas, or neat tables sprinkled around an amazing view of the North Sea. We opted for the comfort of the sofas, and a window box view of the harbour. Coke float and milkshakes were followed by tasty red pepper and... More

Just been to the Old Boatyard Arbroath, main course was very good but when offered the desert menu after waiting over 30 minutes for waiter to come back, it was enough. Very poor service & ended up ruining a very good meal. When informed the manager all we got was a half hearted sorry as we paid the bill, made... More

There are a couple of nice seating areas where you can sit and have a cuppa while you chat. The staff do not rush you on even though you are just having a cuppa and a cake.

Love here, always a treat and fish pie is great. Look forward to coming back. Staff were helpful and even though we had a long wait it is well worth it.
