Peggy Scotts (named after owners scotty dog Peggy who passed away)has fabulous home baking that owner Dawn makes fresh everyday.Homemade soup with home made bread .Lots of variety on the menu and a gift shop/spar for anything you might want to take home.A great place to meet friends and spend an afternoon.

The chocolate sponge cake that you buy to have a home is heavenly, as are their Victoria sponge and Lemon Sponge. Lovely polite staff

The breakfasts were reasonably priced and included a tea or coffee (go for the tea as the coffee is grim!) we wanted to get a juice for our toddler and were charged £1.60 for a diluting juice, almost half what her kids meal cost!! The breakfast was average, the sausages... More

I am vegetarian, I saw nothing on the breakfast menu that was suitable so I asked the woman serving me if I could just choose some of the breakfast items. I also ordered a black coffee. I was shocked when I saw the price on the till adding... More

The lady who took our order was chatty and welcoming, considering our late arrival. Our leg stretch was covered by there... More

At £9.99 for fish and chips you would expect that it would be fresh fish, but no... Poor quality frozen fish. Not what I expected.
