We stopped here mainly for the view over Castle Stalker which is on the Loch below the cafe. Lovely little cafe which has a gift shop attached to it. We only stopped for a quick coffee, which was reasonably priced, but you can eat here too. The cafe has an assortment of chairs and tables or comfortable squash sofas that... More

I suspect almost everyone who visits here stops because they are coming to see the castle, and then realise that they are hungry. In fact, if not the other way around, I have to say that this cafe was a great surprise. Their breakfast was fantastic...eggs and bacon on a roll was great (it is hard not to be with... More

Had a quick coffee and scones after a long walk. The cafe is adjacent to a gift shop which us very nice too and worth a visit. There is outdoor seating available which will be fabulous on a warm sunny day. We stayed indoors to warm up and enjoyed a large scone which tasted freshly baked and good coffee looking... More

Stunning views over Castle Stalker & Loch Linnhe. Husband had an absolutely delicious minute steak sandwich - I had a bowl of hearty homemade soup with scrummy soda bread. We would return at the drop of a hat! They accept dogs which is also a bonus for us with our little Border terrier.

This is a good place to take a break, enjoy the wonderful views of Castle Stalker and the Loch and Highlands beyond. The food is good with pleasant staff - we had ginger beers and cake both good and a 'mooch' around the gift shop if worthwhile we bough several things - there is plenty of choice and the prices... Wonderful view of the Castle Stalker and beyond. Good, tasty soups. Homemade items are nice as well. Plenty of parking.

The best scones in the highlands (well in a wide area anyway), the coffee is good too as is the shop which has a good range of gifts and art including photography. The view is just stunning.

This relatively new Tearoom is set just off the main road from Oban to Fort William at Appin. It provides beautiful views of Loch Linnhe with the (occupied) Castle Stalker at the forefront. The Tearoom provides delicious soup, sandwiches, home-made burgers, paninis etc., together with a good selection of home-madecakes, meringues and other goodies. This is an ideal stop for... More

Despite there being a large sign to the side of the road with '9.30-5', at 4pm the whole building was closed! Disappointing.

People like you shouldn't have the right to publicly slander businesses without good reason. You rattle off a poisonous little speel, giving no consideration to the circumstances or people involved. Are you familiar with the term "Keyboard warrior"? We closed at 4:45pm on said day due to one of our staff members being called out by the Fire Brigade to... More

Our timing was off for pie, but we got ice cream...which was delicious. The gift shop is well stocked with reasonably priced gifts. The view of the castle from the cafe is nice, and there's a path that takes you closer to the water for an even better view.
