We got there just in time to beat a bus tour and were surprisingly glad they didn't have scones so we ended up getting fish and chips for me (really large enough for two) and a fresh salad for my daughter. I'd definitely want to go back again. The staff was very good at understanding everyone's accent which amazed me.

Nice friendly reception on arrival, my room was very pleasant clean and warm. I enjoyed a very good bar meal, hot and fresh, in the clean fresh bar area with attentive staff. Most enjoyable. Except that at breakfast we were waiting on the hot food being replenished, and as I needed to be elsewhere, I missed out on a hot... More

Popped in for Sunday lunch menu stated it came with Yorkshire Pudding. The meal was pretty average the Yorkshire Pudding was something else, being a Yorkshire lass I know what I'm talking about. Shame on the Chef. If he/she needs a lesson on how to make them I would gladly give them a lesson next time I'm near there.

We popped in on a Friday night hoping to get a table which was no problem as it was off season. We had looked at the menu online and were pleased to find it was exactly what was being offered that night. The food was lovely and just the right size portions. The service was also quick. Would definitely go... More

We both had soup and sandwiches, and the quality of both was super. The best that we had eaten for some time. Great coffee too. Very welcoming service

Stayed in hotel and ate in the lounge. Food is honest and good value. Seafood specials for starter can be very good.

We were staying in Inveraray and spotted this pub, asked if they were dog friendly, they were but only in the tap room. Had a alcoholic ginger beer and a pint of beer, came to £7.50. You could have food in there as well which looked nice.
