This very welcoming pub accepted us with two young children and a dog. Food extremely reasonable, maybe too reasonable, but was all absolutely brilliant. Kids meals were generous and the deluxe burger was more than a grown man could manage.

Superb value for money, we ate here yesterday. The newly decorated bar is bright and fresh and the menu is excellent. The food is of high quality and a main course for £5 is terrific. We had the Fish & Chips, huge Burger/chips and the Macaroni with garlic bread. Would highly recommend to visitors and locals alike.

I don't normally put comments on TripAdvisor but I am compelled to do this one. We are a family of four and dog, a table was arranged for us in an already busy bar. Told at the beginning that there was a wait for food. 15-20 mins. We sat down and ordered drinks. 5 mins later we ordered the food... More

We visited Lorne on a Friday night. The food is very good, lots of seafood selections. A whisky menu of about 40 distillers. Super service, friendly staff. They have entertainment on Fridays. This is a nice change from the tourist bars on the harborfront.

Visited today for lunch. Had scallops black pudding and mash and grilled haddock with Parmesan crust. Both excellent and very reasonably priced.

My friend, who is from Oban, loves this place. He brought my group of visiting friends here for traditional Scottish fare. We were not disappointed! Great beers and all of the food was excellent. Mussels, Chicken and Haggis, Smoked Salmon. We ate so much we chose to forego dessert. Lots of funa nd a great pub atmosphere. Can't wait to... More
