Cannot comment on the delicatessen part of the premises although it looks interesting but the upstairs cafe is excellent. It must be as all the times we visited it was very busy. The home made soups are superb. A very comfortable atmosphere and, weather excepted,a real continental feel to the premises. Service always prompt and friendly.

Been here a few times now and the food in the cafe upstairs has always been lovely. Great service too! The deli downstairs is perfecting for picking up locally made foods (from nearby islands etc) and gifts!

When in Oban, we always go here. Small cafe up the stairs and a nice deli and shop downstairs, always presented well and a good range of products, a favourite.

Had a day trip to Oban, found the Kitchen Garden. Had coffee and a delicious cheese scone. The cafe is above the deli and very busy, always a good sign. Service was prompt and friendly and we would certainly go back. The deli is superb and has a great cheese section - not to be missed!

I absolutely adore this shop! I visit every time I come over from America! I love the wide range of cheese and antipasto. Perfect stop to collect items for a picnic! I will be sure to stop in next summer on my visit!

The food shop has a huge array of deli food and all things delicious. The staff were attentive and friendly. We weren't so impressed with the coffee shop though. The staff seemed to be less helpful and a little distant. The drinks were okay and cakes average. Probably wouldn't go there for coffee again but definately visit the food shop.

Disappointed to see that in the vast array of products there was no bbq sauce.......perhaps we were just unlucky but I would have expected this to be in stock.

Lively shop with an amazing selection of cheeses, candy, tea, and other food items. Upstairs there is a cafe with wonderful coffees, teas, and light food items. Do not miss the gingerbread.

Revisited the Kitchen Garden today and what a delightful cafe/deli. this is. The upstairs cafe provides delicious drinks and snacks and the Donuts are just the best ever! Super Staff serve here and the deli. downstairs has an abundance of delightful foods and 'goodies'

Description
The Kitchen Garden is a busy delicatessen and coffee shop. Our licensed coffee shop is located on a mezzanine floor which overlooks the delicatessen below. We offer freshly prepared, local, simple meals and can be busy during peak times. With regret we do not have lift access to the coffee shop but wheelchairs and buggies can be left in the deli, where the staff will keep an eye. Our deli is well stocked with several thousand lines from Scotland and beyond, with an emphasis on Scottish cheeses and whiskies.
