We've been coming here during visits to Oban since it opened some years ago. The staff are friendly and attentive and do their best to comply with customers' wishes. There is a reasonably varied menu comprising sandwiches, toasted sandwiches and other light meals, scones and...More

Went in for breakfast to finish off our weekend in Oban. Nice & freshly cooked and not fatty or greasy. Good coffee and good selection of herbal teas. Milkshakes also very good. Home baking looked tasty - was busy and lots of locals - a...More

Stopped for mid-morning coffee and scone. The scones were home made and very good but the coffee was just average and the service was slow even though there were not many customers. We sat overlooking the Deli counter where it was obvious the staff were...More

This is a great place to find local products, particularly cheese. We enjoyed breakfast in their loft cafe; one of the best scones of our trip.

For a first foray into Oban this quaint deli with mezzanine eating looked promising. Sadly it failed to live up to expectation. The dining area is dark and dreary, with little to brighten it. Even the eclectic artwork which may have provided a feature was...More

I enjoyed the oldstyle atmosphere over a delicious cup of tea and salmon sandwich. The sandwich was in my opinion overpriced but oh so good.

We ate lunch here the day we got in from Glasgow. Soup of the day and sandwiches were great on a windy day. Prawn Marie Rose and ham with Brie and cranberry were both good choices. The day we left we popped in on a...More

The Kitchen Garden is a busy delicatessen and coffee shop. Our licensed coffee shop is located on a mezzanine floor which overlooks the delicatessen below. We offer freshly prepared, local, simple meals and can be busy during peak times. With regret we do not have lift access to the coffee shop but wheelchairs and buggies can be left in the deli, where the staff will keep an eye. Our deli is well stocked with several thousand lines from Scotland and beyond, with an emphasis on Scottish cheeses and whiskies.
