This was the last night of a few days in Oban and just won our vote for the best meal! The staff were attentive and friendly, there is a good choice of different fish dishes and meat for those who don't want fish. We will definitely be back! A big thank you too for the lift home at the end... More

Smoked salmon and smoked trout were good. But both served with the same inappropriate salad, as okay in its own right that was, it just didn't really go with either of the smoked fish. Mind, the salmon was parcels, with some languistine inside - only one had any and it was a slight sliver...But not a bad starter. Then the... More

We came here on the first night of a holiday touring the Outer Hebrides. What a fantastic start. The food was fabulous, really well cooked fish, beautifully presented and sensibly priced. It's not a cheap place to eat but definitely worth the money. Great sunset views over the harbour. Staff very efficient and friendly.

I had the Seafood Chowder which was very nice. As a main I had the Sea Bass with Leek mash. And some chips. Very tasty. Good wine. Good atmosphere. Will come again.

Oysters were fantastic.....we followed with langoustines which were advertised as jumbo however they were very small and tasteless.....we also ordered creamed leeks and chips. The leeks were so over cooked and swimming in cream, and the chips were also in a tiny container cut into little cubes. It had a wonderful view though and the atmosphere was good with quiet... More

We enjoyed Oysters, Mussels, Lobster and sea bream all of which were excellent in quality and excellently prepared. The menu lists the provenance of the sea-food served - all from local fishermen. The service was absolutely first class. I can't recall a better seafood meal anywhere I've travelled. I wish I lived nearer.

Very nice ambiance, the service was quick and nice, and all the dishes were rewarding in the end. The mussels were very well cooked, the oysters tasted fresh and the scallops sauce was amazing. Our main courses were generous and the taste was excellent. The wines are maybe a little pricey, but you forget it after eating. Overall very good... More

They maintain their reputation for high quality sea food. It was brilliant. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff made it even better. They went out of their way to provide some extra options for a vegetarian too. A great experience.

This restaurant was a hugely pleasant surprise during our recent trip to Scotland. The fish was fresh, and well-prepared, and was the best meal of our entire one-week trip. The service was a bit slow, but worth it. We would definitely return.
