Love a visit. Great selection of cakes that are gluten free and or dairy free - that satisfy a craving. Great choice of drinks. Tried the chili hot chocolate - very different. Bit more of a kick than I planned for but still tasty. Would possibly ask for some cold milk the next time as used some that my mum... More

My boys and I met here with friends. It was my friend's first visit and I suggested meeting here as they always have a good selection of toys to keep the children entertained plus delicious scones and cakes. Unfortunately, upon entering there were no toys to be seen and when I asked the staff member where the toys were, she... More

This is the most adorable, delicious little cafe. It is a hidden gem and has absolutely delicious treats. It is the perfect place to catch up with friends over a cup of tea.

I used to meet friends here often but haven't been for a while. The staff member that served us was good. She gave us menus and one for Christmas specials. We ordered a bowl of soup from normal menu and ciabattas from the Christmas menu That came with side salad and crisps. The waitress that took our order brought our... More

a charming cafe with a limited offering of average produce , mainly not home cooked i expect . Young inexperienced staff with typical student doing a part time job attitude to customer service.

Returned to NonaLou's yesterday when I was in town. I thoroughly enjoyed one of their massive salads. The homemade coleslaw is just delicious!! I especially enjoyed the local smoked chicken and it's lovely to see that Visit Scotland has recognised this eatery since my last visit. I balanced the salad with a lovely piece of cake (that's ok right?). Can't... More

As a fairly regular customer here, I was so disappointed last week when I visited with my daughter-in-law and little grandson. He was late waking from his nap, so we were late getting out to go for lunch. We checked timings online and no mention of a cut-off time for lunch, so we set off, arriving at NonaLou's just at... Whether it's coffee & cake you're after or a light lunch, Nona Lou's serves lovely food. I would highly recommend the smoked chicken (salad or pannini) They have a special 'fat Friday' cake every Friday (funnily enough!). The decor & room itself is full of character. Only 2 negatives: 1) the doughnuts look delicious but are very disappointing as they... More

I was recently at a hen party, it was £12 each for "afternoon tea" and the selection was very little. The only thing that was really delicious was the ham and Philly wraps. You certainly didn't get enough for your money!
