Halfway between Dumfries and Dalbeattie this superb shop and restaurant is a must if you are in the area with Breads and cakes freshly made there is an air of quality about the place. Go early as the large car park soon fills up and if you are late you will find yourself queueing for a seat . A good... More

We have been here many times, the service is always good, the food is lovely and sitting watching the ducks on the pond is the icing on the cake!

This place is just up the road from, and was recommended by the owners of, the lodge where we were staying. The cafe and deli look great and the staff all very nice. It was very busy and we had to wait for a little while to be seated. We had coffees and cakes. The coffees could be served warmer... More

Great place not only for morning coffee, which was superb, but also have a varied menu of healthy food. Lovely atmosphere, very friendly staff, and a shop in which you could spend too much money. Certainly worth a visit when in the area.

Lovely farm shop and tearoom with a tasty selection of homemade dishes, cakes and coffee. Great service and helpful, friendly staff. Set in a nice area, en route to the solway coast (Kippford).

Ended up visiting three times in our week in the area; each time we were served promptly and cheerfully. On the first occasion we arrived at lunchtime in a party of twelve, so finding us seats and getting our lunches was not the easiest. I can't recommend the cafe enough, and the cakes and bread from the shop are both... More

Called in for light lunch we couldn't fault the service and quality of the food place. A true gem in Dumfries and Galloway and the Loch Arthur ethos is especially welcoming. You must vist to discover its embellished love for organic and local sourced foods.

Found this by accident, so went in for a cuppa and a slice of cake. Its a lovely place, big windows, wood burner, cosy seats by the fire or seats by the window. Service was excellent as was the food and drinks. The shop was very nice and the quality of the food was great. We will definitely be back.
