Stumbled upon this lovely welcoming cafe with fabulous home baking - certainly worth a visit - traditional Italian cafe - hope to return.

Stopped here rather than a service station on m74 .had soup and sandwich the later gluten free. Soup was delicious . Tempted husband to try fly cemetery . I had a varied choice of gluten free . It took husband to Carlisle before he shut up about the deliciousness of the pastry!

Having given the cafe amiss for a few years and trying other places , we thought we would see if had changed , we were disappointed in it. Coffee wasn't very warm and sausage was undercooked, so didn't enjoy the visit at all. It's a busy cafe with very nice staff but we wouldn't rush back when in the area.

Excellent choice of food, not too long a wait but freshly done - all worth it. Slightly pricier than some but quality shows.

Went with my friends after being out the night before and can't complain. Great value for money full breakfast, tea or coffee, orange or apple juice and toast - £8.95. Would visit again😉

At the back end of our Scottish holiday, called into Moffat, a quick walk through the village and we decided on this little cafe and cakes sandwiches and afternoon drinks were quickly decided on. Friendly staff, a bustling busy cafe which is always a good sign, everyone left happy, they even serve tea in a proper mug too, which for... More

Used to frequent Cade Ariete many years ago, so enjoyed the nostalgia of popping on and finding it much the same. Had a lovely toastie, coffee was fantastic and my friend's breakfast looked amazing too. Good value for money and good service. Not bad for a quick lunch time stop in Moffat.

Came here on a whim, ordered tea and a lovely piece of carrot cake- delicious! The young staff I encountered were delightful- in particular a cheery tall young man of around 16 with braces, a very smiley young lady who appeared to be in her 20's and a very attentive and polite dark haired south african young girl. All in... More
