Lovely friendly place to eat. Superb choice of food. Friendly staff, nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them.

Not being accustomed writing reviews or complaining about food I felt compelled to note my opinions in this case. I visited this pub in a company 9 for dinner prior to attending a play in the local village hall on a Saturday evening. The place was busy and the atmosphere generally convivial. "fillet of beef stroganoff" was a special at... More

Friendly staff offering good service. Great choices on menu. Reasonably priced along with most other pub food locally. Good portion sizes, great food.

We have come to Scotland for a few days holiday and wanted a good local place to eat. We were not disappointed. The food, service & atmosphere were outstanding. Would definitely visit here again. Thank you for a fantastic memory.

Decided to go for some lunch with the other/better half before a trip to Glasgow. Had heard some good reviews from friends so decided to see what all the fuss was about. Easy enough to find snd litterally 30 seconds from the A77. Good off street parking for a start, tarmac'd and well kept. Nice little garden area between the... More

Driving to Glasgow and we were both hungry so decided to stop in here. Welcomed by lovely staff. Drinks order taken. Staff very friendly and attentive. We decided to go for 2 courses for £12. There was a great selection. We had Cullen skink soup, haggis starters and steak pie for mains. The food was delicious one of the best... More

The standards have slipped. The Lasagne I had was mostly cheese and sauce. Shame really as we used to come here once every couple of months but I thought the food bland. There are other establishments serving far superior quality food in Ayrshire for the same money.

Not my first time at this restaurant and there's a reason for that, every time we have been there the food is consistently good. No complaints staff are very pleasant and we will be back.

I have visited the Wheatsheaf on several occasions and I am always very satisfied with the meal and service. I think that the restaurant has a very appealing menu and a wide array of choice and at a reasonable cost. We had a meal with friends in the afternoon on Saturday and we all agreed that the food was very... More

Travelled here for a family meal and was not disappointed. I just love the haggis with neeps and tatties. There are more traditional choices on the menu which is quite varied. The surroundings are lovely although a bit dark being an old construction. Good value and service was great

Thank GerryGG
