I've been here a few times and it never disappoints. Lovely South American food in a cosy setting. The food is lovely with some really interesting choices. Friendly South American staff too. A from favourite in Stockbridge.

We were recently in Edinburgh for a long weekend and were staying around the corner from the Sabor Criollo. I am usually suspicious of South American restaurants outside of South America. They are almost universally poor, but we decided to give it a try anyway....More

My fiancé and I visited Sabor Criollo just yesterday and we had a great experience. The restaurant itself is very vibrant and colorful with a really nice atmosphere, and the staff were really friendly. The food was very decently priced and absolutely delicious - everything...More

We ate here with friends and had a lovely time and a delicious meal. The staff were helpful in dealing with our range of dietary requirements. We all really enjoyed the food and will definitely return - keep up the good work!!

It was my husband's birthday and we found this nice little restaurant while on a trip to Edinburgh. Within 3 hours of dining at Sabor I experienced violent vomiting and felt very ill the following day. 24 hours later my husband had diarrhoea and vomiting...More

Came across this small unassuming restaurant on the way back from another event in Stockbridge. What a find! We managed to get a table and lucky we came at the time we did as the restaurant quickly got full with all the tables taken. We...More

Just had dinner here for the first time, had high hopes as it is a local restaurant. I specifically asked what dishes were gluten free before ordering, after 3 bites into my main I started having symptoms of eating wheat. Very unpleasant, I gavethe rest...More

Stockbridge & Dean Village
Just downhill of New Town and attractively straddling
a river near the elegant Royal Botanic Garden, it’s
small wonder that Stockbridge became one of the city’s
first hip neighbourhoods. It’s now one of Edinburgh’s
most desirable, though many bohemian touches have
fallen away as its residents have matured and the area
has gentrified. Some second-hand shops cling on, but
mostly residents display refined tastes in basement
