Didn't have a reservation on the Bank holiday, but were welcomed and seated quickly although things seemed busy. Ordered the hot seafood platter, which was wonderful. A delicious variety of seafood, but it was more than we could eat - probably too many Mussels. We were looked after by a delightful young lady and nothing was too much trouble -... More

Were advised by a friend who knows well the place. We're delighted. Lovely setting. Enjoyed delicious mussels, fish cakes very generous and excellent, calamari nicely spicy. Chowder very rich and tasty, king scallops (5) pricey and excellent. Fish and chips very decent. Good local lager on tap. Tiramisu on the dry side. Sticky pudding very nice. And the scoop of... Not a fish and chip shop far from it, the restaurant has fantastic high end fish dishes and I a kicking myself for ordering a side of fries as if I had not this would be a sure fire 5 star but the chips were poor however service was great

Visited this restaurant on recommendation and had the hot shellfish platter. We were impressed by the presentation of the platter and the range of seafood. There was an ambundance of mussels, huge crab claws full of crab meat, a lobster, king scallops and langoustines which came with chips and garlic butter sauce. We ordered a salad which was a good... Came here today for last lunch with people from work and we had to change tables when we got there as we had an additional person come with us and needed a bigger table, it then took 20 minutes before we had a drink order taken, then 20 minutes later we was asked for our food order..... so actually took... This is a really lovely bar, with mirrored walls and a great atmosphere. A very wide range of drinks, and the haddock and chips is superb, light, crisp batter and beautifully fresh fish. A good rang of wines and efficient and friendly staff.

Went as a party of four. The salmon starter was great and muscles were excellent. Fruit de mer was good but a piece of shell in the crab mince broke a tooth !!!! Can happen but was unfortunate. Sole was delicious as was the cooked salmon. Lovely service by Olga. Wines were just o.k. I agree the Viognier is not... More

We came here a little later then usual, but the waiters were obviously too busy to take care of a table of 4 "kids" as we looked. Didn't help chose the wine. Didn't help to chose the food. And when we requested to have bread on our table all the time, I was told that they couldn't spare more then... More

Dropped in for a quick lunch and were quickly seated in a fairly crowded restaurant. The restaurant is small, in two parts and is quite noisy. We had mussels which were large and really well cooked. The bread was good too. There were a significant number of French customers enjoying a huge variety of fish and crustaceans. The staff were... More
