Lovely ambience, decor and staff. Great recommendations from our waiter as to the number of dishes to start with and it was just right. The chorizo in wine is to die for.

We love Tapa so much we were in for lunch twice this week. The El Classico lunch deal is great value for money at £15 for two and there's loads of lovely dishes with it. Round it up with a Gin Mare and that's the perfect lunch. Cannot recommend Tapa enough, the best Spanish food in Edinburgh.

Visited for an evening meal after a friends recommendation. Warmly welcomed by the staff we were well looked after throughout the evening. We shared a bottle of wine and a verity of Tapa. All the dishes were tasty and freshly prepared. The atmosphere was good although the restaurant wasn't busy when we visited. We both love Tapa dining so will... More

Cannot praise the food in Tapa enough. So tasty you don't want it to end. Service was great too. Can't wait to go back!

Have eaten here several times. My friend and I usually have the lunchtime vegetarian sharing platter for two. Excellent value at £7.50 per person. There's a non veggie option for the same price which I've also had, equally good. Both are substantial and tasty. Everyone I've introduced the restaurant to has enjoyed it and has been pleased to go back,... More

Called in late Saturday afternoon (without a booking) and was offered a table providing we vacated by 6 pm. After reading other reviews, we ordered the lunchtime sharing platter (served until 5 pm). At only £15 this was great value for money. Also ordered bread & dips for starters and churros to finish. All nicely washed down with a very... More

This place brings back memories of Tapas eaten in Southern Spain. The quality of the ingredients, the cooking thereof and the presentation cannot be faulted. The staff and the service are amongst the highest I've enjoyed, and I've enjoyed some exceedingly good ones. An amazing experience and consistently good over time.

No matter where you are in Spain, a moments walk from the main tourist traps will almost always immerse you in the hustle and bustle of real Spanish life- busy bars and restaurants full of animated discussions conducted over fresh, homemade food. With this in mind, we selected our home of 19 Shore Place as the perfect venue to recreate this wonderful ambiance in Edinburgh.
