From the waitress's sneer when I said I was there on my own to eat, things just got worse. The waitress was extremely unpleasant, left me so long with the menu that I had to go find her, then she ordered me the wrong thing...More

I hadn’t been in years but we had a great time the other night. The cocktails are excellent and the food is not bad. The only disappointing thing was the banana and coconut cream pie. It had a hard cold layer of dedicated coconut which...More

We came here for brunch and had the all day breakfast. The toast was solid and the butter was solid and we were never offered the coffee which was meant to come with the breakfast. I like coming here but this was disappointing.

We enjoyed 2 cocktails here - good selection of cocktails. £18 for two so not cheap. One staff member was great. However being chased down the street by another panting employee claiming we’d left without paying wasn’t the highlight of our night. 😅 Atrocious.

My friends and I have been visiting this cafe/bar for years and returned this year to find the food and service had changed. The food was soggy and cold and was sent back to the kitchen only to return just as bad. Then the waitress...More

Last time we visited here I gave it 4 stars and said we would definitely return. Well, we did and were so disappointed. I had something from their Vietnamese style on French bread heading. The bread was solid all the way through and totally inedible....More

Broughton & Calton
Lying where grandiose New Town townhouses give way to
