I have eaten lunch in Chez Jules many times and each time it has been delicious and amazingly good value! It is always full and bustling but this doesn't impact on the level of service. Definitely worth a visit.

When I walk into this lovely restaurant in Edinburgh I feel that I am in France. It has the atmosphere of a French country restaurant. The food is great and prices are very reasonable. I love this place!

What a wonderful place to get some authentic French dishes. The steaks are delicious, but do try the steak tartare and the duck. The staff are super friendly and the music is a great of true french classics.

Of course this is the opinion of Mathew303, "zee Authority" in Edinburgh French restaurant. Especially well regarded for his astonishing ability to qualify an Indian venue to be much better than a French restaurant. Could it be a question of taste?

If you are up for a plate of delicious French bistro style food. The ambiance takes you to Montmartre, you can taste some delicious Frog legs or a nice Gratin Dauphinois as you can only find in the French countryside. The seats are not very...More

Old Town
Few Edinburghers live in the Old Town, but its
labyrinth of dank alleys and steep streets suggests
this was not always the case. Today, it’s mostly
visitors, tartan-flavoured souvenir shops, and pipers
that you’ll find on its cobbled streets. This is the
place to get a feel for Auld Reekie (Old Smelly), as
the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal
Mile, the thoroughfare that links the castle with the
