Nice little cafe that does good food and lots of cakes. Only had a coffee which was excellent but lots of other people eating. Bigger than it looks from the outside. Free WiFi and friendly service.

Not many people when we walked in at 8am in the morning. Got seated near the door and space was a bit cramped especially with our big coats. Food is quite good and I'm happy that they offer a vegetarian version of their full Scottish...More

This was a quick stop from our travels, close to Waverley Station so convenient. The Belter breakfast was amazing and hot/tasty coffee. Fully recommend.

Tasty food and coffee. We had a breakfast roll and a ham & cheese croissant, both better than what you would expect from a standard cafe. Nice interior and surprising amount of seating space. Quite expensive and not particularly fast service, however staff were friendly.

Old Town
Few Edinburghers live in the Old Town, but its

this was not always the case. Today, it’s mostly
visitors, tartan-flavoured souvenir shops, and pipers
that you’ll find on its cobbled streets. This is the
place to get a feel for Auld Reekie (Old Smelly), as
the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal
Mile, the thoroughfare that links the castle with the
