We had the weekday buffet which was worthwhile but what made our visit special was an amazing waiter. Unfortunately I cannot recall his name but according to the slip it was 'DennyB'. Thank you for a great chat

Came across this by chance, I had salad bar and Grandaughter childs buffet lunch which included unlimited pizza slices which were continually topped up all varieties and salad bar , 2 xrefillable soft drinks for under £20 which is good value in Edingburgh . Good staff vert attentive even though they were busy they had a smile all the time.

We liked the service levels and the alertness of the staff, normally the waiting time is very long at Pizza Hut's but this one seemed to be different with dedicated staff. The quality of the preparation was excellent, we didn't feel any part over or under baked as we normally do at other branches of Pizza Hut.

Went there for a pizza in the evening, with about 2 or 3 other customers in the place. In other words, pretty empty! 1. People who came in after us were served first. 2. We waited 1 hour before our pizza arrived. 3. The pizza arrived cold. I was really upset by the whole thing but to be fair, the... More

I know this a restaurant chain, but some standards left a lot to be desired. General air of grubbiness about the place, only 2 staff on, although they were very nice, so had to wait quite a while to be served. Food luke warm. Although we were sat away from the door it was very chilly, I had to put... More

The one thing I enjoy most about pizza hut is the salad station which is unlimited with every main purchased. However, I found the service rather lacking and the pizza quality has slipped far behind the competition. We visited on a Friday at 4pm when it is still relatively quiet. The waitress was friendly enough but she got our simple... More

Had family meal out while visiting Edinburgh. Had to return son's milkshake as it had a hair in it. Ordered meal (4 pizzas and a portion of chips)...was extremely disappointed that the chips arrived just as we were finishing our pizzas. Questioned waitress why it had taken so long to bring the chips, especially since we had finished eating....she just... More

Went here while on business in Edinburgh. Service good. Not a vast selection of pizzas to choose from but what was there tasted good. If you want to eat out but need somewhere quick, this is a good place to choose.

Staying in Old Town

Neighbourhood Profile
Old Town
Few Edinburghers live in the Old Town, but its labyrinth of dank alleys and steep streets suggests this was not always the case. Today, it’s mostly visitors, tartan-flavoured souvenir shops, and pipers that you’ll find on its cobbled streets. This is the place to get a feel for Auld Reekie (Old Smelly), as the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal Mile, the thoroughfare that links the castle with the royal palace – two of Edinburgh’s great set-piece attractions. But there’s lots more exploring to do here down dozens of little alleys, or wynds, while at night the city’s busiest clubs erupt along the Cowgate which is closed to traffic for this purpose.
