Burgers are pretty tasty however they are very well done bordering on over cooked. Unusual concept of having to pay extra for every side especially when the burger alone is £13 plus. FROZEN fries an extra £4+ for a very very small portion. Coke turned...More

I tried two restaurants within a couple of minutes from Burgers and Beers. In both, I couldn’t get gluten free ribs and in one the staff were shockingly rude. Contrast that with Burgers and Beers where I was greeted by the most friendly Canadian (Jolen?)...More

Went here without booking and from previous reviews was worried we wouldn’t get seen. Had a table in 10 mins after waiting with a beer. Service was great, food was great and beers were great! Definitely coming again!

Quite possibly one of the nicest burgers I’ve had but @ £13.45 for a small burger it needs to be. £4.95 extra for frozen fries and a very small amount. Pint of draught beer £5. Nice but way overpriced, better value elsewhere.

Our family had lunch here today. Mercedes, our server, was very friendly and provided excellent service. The burgers were delicious. This is a great place to go on the Royal Mile/near Edinburgh Castle.

Burgers are amazing in here but it is very expensive. Fries are a bit overpriced for what you get!! It's a pity they aren't included with your burger. We shared a portion of fries & had a burger each with one pint of lager &...More

Spent a week in Edinburgh and as a burger affectionato me and my mat tried various choices. This establishment had the best burgers all around and a great selection of craft beers to boot. Their sweet fried potatoes were also excellent and come highly recommended.

American homesick for familiar food with local flair? This is the place to be. The burger was one of the best outside if not inside of the US. A little pricey but excellent atmosphere and the wait staff very friendly. Worth the premium for a...More

Old Town
Few Edinburghers live in the Old Town, but its
labyrinth of dank alleys and steep streets suggests
this was not always the case. Today, it’s mostly
visitors, tartan-flavoured souvenir shops, and pipers
that you’ll find on its cobbled streets. This is the
place to get a feel for Auld Reekie (Old Smelly), as
the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal
Mile, the thoroughfare that links the castle with the

The burgers are also available as chicken or vegetarian and with or without a bun. There is no longer a salad in the menu, but if you ask for your meal without a bun they serve it on a bed if greens.

I've saw a 91 year old woman finish it! So no, but we do have a good challenge and if you Finnish that it's free! Only one man has done this so far tho!
