My wife and I had the tasting menu which meant we got to experience a range of dishes. They were all delicious. We paid a discounted rate - from an amazon local voucher - but we will return and happily pay full price. A very...More

I already wasted 2 and a half hours of my life in this dive so I'm keeping this review short. If you like food just dont choose to eat here. Appallingly poor food. Six course tasting menu as follows... 1. Cured meats. 5 tiny slices...More

My family and I visited on a voucher we were given as a gift. It was a hassle booking as the voucher was about to expire and they had no tables available before the expiry date. However, they agreed to book us in a day...More

Group of 4 visited on a Thursday night - only 1 other table was occupied. However, the food was very tasty - the lamb was delicious! Nice selection of wines and staff were very friendly. Would return!

Yes, it was special. My husband and I don't need a crowded room to enjoy ourselves so the addition of only one other couple did not detract from the sheer joy of the food and the service. We had ordered the tasting menu some weeks...More

My husband and I took advantage of a 5pm deal of a 6 course tasting menu with matching wines. From the moment we arrived we knew it wasn't going to be our best dining experience. It was obvious the staff were uninterested and dishes arrived...More

I would definitely not recommend this restaurant. We ordered 6 tapas dishes, mostly vegetarian, and some of them were so small it was virtually impossible to share them. The dishes were served very slowly and we were often left waiting. Towards the end of the...More

the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal
Mile, the thoroughfare that links the castle with the
