I was there with 5 friends. I have to say the quality of the cocktails was really poor. We had to ask for correct ingredients to be added. After we left we went to tiger lillys. They are in a different league with really knowledgeable...More

I don't know if they do this regularly but they had a special offer on - 3 courses and a cocktail for £33 - which was superb. This restaurant has commanding views over Edinburgh and couple this with efficient friendly service and exquisite food and...More

Clearly they were not expecting customers and hadn't prepared things like.... menus ! We arrived for breakfast at 10am - It took well over an hour..... The food is good, but the amateur service and 20 minute wait for coffee is just unacceptable.... I recommended...More

Suits and shopping bags rule the streets of New Town,
until after dark when strappy dresses come out to

with its smaller offices, clothes boutiques, and many
of the city’s flashiest restaurants and ritziest
clubs. The architecture along roads like George Street
helps give it a swank and formal feel: it’s a planned
Georgian development of regal townhouses, geometric

Description
With the scenery of Edinburgh Castle and the Firth of Forth, the Forth Floor Restaurant at Harvey Nichols certainly has a sense of drama about it. The stylish elements of the decor, such as the circular lights which begin to glow red once the sky becomes darker, and the Scottish flavours found through the restaurant menu all inspire an adventurous dining experience with the finest quality food. Meanwhile, the brasserie makes for an enjoyable alternative, presenting a modern take on conventional European cuisine, and the extensive wine list includes over 350 different varieties of wines and champagnes. During the summer months, it is also possible to enjoy meals outside on the large terrace, overlooking all of Edinburgh.
