Absolutely disgusting. Refried chips (in old stinky oil) looking like a old wipe. Ugly sausage touched by dirty hands without gloves after taking a money. Ketchup tasting like an acid. Not fresh salads. Cashier put a lot of salt on everything even on a roll. Ask me few times what I want to order (again and again) and then not... More

Well I would love to review the food... but how can I when it didn't show? After placing an order to sober us up which came to £17.90 we were told it would be an hour. Understandable on a Saturday night! The time until delivery then increased by 45 mins. We were getting very hunger and tired at this point... More

I placed an order last night, which to start with took over an hour to arrive..... over an hour - to cook chip and fry a few things... The hamburger did not come with a burger bun or toppings, something which should have been noted on the website. The burger itself that I received was not edible, it was tough... More

I ordered a substantial quantity of food from this place in the middle of the night and it took an hour and a half to arrive!! I was not told it would take this long when I ordered the food. We finally received our delivery and were completely disappointed. The chicken tasted like cardboard in breadcrumbs, the chips were soggy,... More

Ok feed but don't support businesses that charge for the use of debit cards. That's the cost of doing business.

Patheric excuse for Italian food, horrible food we had delivered ( had to use our own oven to heat the food) called the takeaway to complain and they said they'd call me back in a couple of minutes and they still haven't received the call, used just eat to make order, next time I'll use a different Takeaway Waste of... We had fish and chips here the other day. The food was fine, but not the best I've had. The service was very quick and efficient. I would probably try them again if I'm nearby.

This is a surprisingly friendly place, good Italian food, deals often available. It is a nice place for an earthy meal out. Food was pretty average, and one of the pasta dishes had to be sent back because it was cold. To be fair the cost of the pasta dish was knocked off the final bill.

This place used to be okay. However, today we purchased two portions of chips. When we arrived home and opened them up, we were confronted with two portions of greasy, mahogany coloured, brittle, reheated chips. Horrible! Hopefully they will read this review and up their game.

Food very overcooked to the point it was almost burnt, and tasted reheated and very greasy. Staff not very friendly at all. Won't return. Highly unrecommended!

Staying in Broughton & Calton

Neighbourhood Profile
Broughton & Calton
Lying where grandiose New Town townhouses give way to malls and utilitarian housing, Broughton and Calton have long been transitional neighbourhoods with a mixed identity. It’s here that Edinburgh’s gay village found a home in the 1980s. But gay culture is anything but overt along bustling epicentre Broughton Street; even if polished pubs, hip bistros, smart delis and art galleries all speak of affluent good taste. The top of Leith Walk is more ragged. This major thoroughfare boasts a famously gritty gay club, as well as a strip of good Indian restaurants. Regal Georgian and Victorian townhouses preside over largely deserted streets in Calton, where only the occasional restaurant or hotel brings much life. Even so, a steady trickle of idlers and picnickers pass by to climb Calton Hill for its wide-open lawns, wonderful city views, and curious monuments – an Athenian-style temple among them.
