Beautiful meal as always served by professional welcoming staff. The Chicken Tikka with Dansak sauce and super sized garlic Nan was amazing and tasty as always. Tasty mid week treat.

Made a last minute booking for this place, they managed to squeeze us in. Visiting with my two young children they're one of the first Indian restaurant's i've seen that really make an effort to cater for children, the children's menu had a good selection of Indian food but was well presented for them and the portions were a good... Ordered the 'fish' thali, and the 'non-vegetarian' thali as we wanted to try a few different meals but we were so disappointed. Both thali meals had the most bland korma meal (one chicken and one prawn). Annoyingly you won't get told what types of dishes are in the Thali meals or we'd had changed our order if we'd known about... More

We called on our way back home from Edinburgh to Preston, well worth the stop! It had been recommended and lived up to expectations. Great food and the staff were lovely, really helpful and made us very welcome. Highly recommended, worth a detour, just make sure you're hungry!!

This restaurant is clean, looks lovely and is staffed by helpful, humorous employees. The food is, time after time, excellent. A wide variety of quality food for a more than reasonable price. I would fully recommend a return visit.

We visited Falkirk to see The Kelpies and the wheel, The Sanam was recommended and didn't disappoint. The welcome was friendly and the food was excellent and really good value. If you are anywhere near this well worth a visit.

Ordered take away as it's always busy so thought it must be good. Had high expectations but to be honest it was average. The raita was disgusting it was actually big chunks of cucumber, tomatoes in yogurt it wasn't nice at all and all of it went in the bin. The nann bread was massive though!

Description
Sanam Tandoori Restaurant first opened its doors in 1976 and has gone from strength to strength on the back of authentic Indian cuisine and a dedicated personal service.

It was originally founded and managed by Mr Mohammed Anwar until 1999 when he passed the reins down to his sons - Nadeem, Waseem, Naeem and Azeem - who continue to run the restaurant to the present day.

Over the years the restaurant has undergone several significant refurbishments - most notably its most recent renovation in November 2012. Today the restaurant is without a doubt one of the most stylish eateries in Central Scotland.
