If you are looking for a hopping place to grab a drink, this is a great place to visit. Seems like it got busier the later it got. Fun place, but it might seem too crowded for some.

Beautiful little pub. It’s loud, it’s popular, it’s busy and it’s exactly what you want from a little pub. Perch yourself at the bar and talk to the locals or fellow tourists.

We called in here on our way to dinner. Fabulous little pub full of friendly locals. We felt very welcomed. There were some lovely chocolate treats on the bar that apparently a "vintage chic" makes every Friday for the enjoyment of the regulars. They were...divine. We only stayed for one drink but we will definitely visit again.More

One of the best whisky bars I’ve found, barmaids very knowledgable and helpful. Proper old school feel to the bar as well. Great couple of hours in there, even on a Sunday night in February! Thanks for your service!

There was an old lady who gave me the most judgement Al, scathing once over I have ever experienced. aside from that, several nice men recommended fireball shots to us and that was a good wholesome bonding moment for the team. I would say it...cancelled out the judgement I felt upon entrance (should be noted that the staff are lovely and the judgy woman was a patron)More

We entered this pub, and felt as if we were descendants of the original St Andrews monks. There is only one place that you could have a shot at 4:23pm and nobody would bat an eyelid. A man at the bar, with the wisdom of...experience, suggested that we swap our vodka shot for a fireball, and my god was it a good choice. We left 5 minutes after we had entered, better people.More

Dropped in for a drink in our first day in St Andrews, staff extremely helpful, punters entertaining. Drinks reasonably priced and they do soup n toasties with a bag of crisps flung in. Toilets are good, staff even better, never allowing your glass to remain...empty. We returned again to enjoy the atmosphere, probably the best wee pub in Saint Andrew’s with the banterMore

Not a big 'Bar' it is definitely a pub and not an eatery, but the food available, was tasty, and the portions were very filling and hit the spot for lunch. Very reasonably priced and they accept 'walk-ins' provided you agree not to exceed the...time posted on your table - reserved for future use. Not sure about their adherence to COVID rules since we only sat outside, but the staff wore masks, were quick to point out the rules to customers and recorded all our details - and all done in a happy, pleasant and friendly way.More
