Staff rude and didn’t show any of the famed Scottish hospitality at all.. called last orders at 11.45 pm served drinks, then lifted them again 12 midnight and threw them down the sink.. we were the only people in the place and on the street...!!!More

Dropped in for a drink in our first day in St Andrews, staff extremely helpful, punters entertaining. Drinks reasonably priced and they do soup n toasties with a bag of crisps flung in. Toilets are good, staff even better, never allowing your glass to remain...empty. We returned again to enjoy the atmosphere, probably the best wee pub in Saint Andrew’s with the banterMore
Not a big 'Bar' it is definitely a pub and not an eatery, but the food available, was tasty, and the portions were very filling and hit the spot for lunch. Very reasonably priced and they accept 'walk-ins' provided you agree not to exceed the...time posted on your table - reserved for future use. Not sure about their adherence to COVID rules since we only sat outside, but the staff wore masks, were quick to point out the rules to customers and recorded all our details - and all done in a happy, pleasant and friendly way.More
Managed to get a table outside for a drink due to the Covid regulations. The outside area is sheltered but it does get a little cold. Draught lager was well kept and the staff were helpful and friendly. A great little local pub. We will...be back.More
Visited three time’s on a break in St Andrews . Had to book in advance. All Covid rules were adhered to strictly which was good . The staff were very friendly and made us welcome. Will definitely visit when back in St Andrews.
unfortunately Scottish Law says that children under 14 are not allowed into the bar. there are bars in town that have a kids licence though. the bar does have a seating area outside that is technically a public pavement... More
