I found it quite underwhelming. Service very pleasant and friendly albeit a bit slow. The dessert of white chocolate tart with mascarpone and lime literally tasted of nothing. I think the tart case was bought in, or it was stale. Nothing really stood out for us, Maybe we just went on an off day. I was expecting an explosion of... More

Lunch with my lovely wife at a restaurant we last visited 35 years ago (when it was Greek!) and I have to say that the Sisters' classic Scottish food was great. For starters we had a black pudding fritter and soup with a delightful mini loaf. Both ideal. Our mains were flavoursome and filling: chicken stuffed with haggis; and ham,... More

We had a lovely meal here from the pre theatre menu. I particularly enjoyed the hake served with mussels in a lobster sauce and the dessert was delightful. The a la carte menu is very good too. The service was very good too (not in your face), polite and friendly and the prices are reasonable too.

Booked here on a recommendation from friends and wasn't dissapointed. Reserved a table for 6pm to take advantage of the Pre-Theatre menu, obviously not as much choice as the main menu, but a good selection over the three courses. Four very satisfied customers. The food, atmosphere and especially the service has to be complemented.got to be up there as one... More

We were so pleased that we chose Sisters for our anniversary meal, it was superb from start to finish! Our first time here, we were struck by how cosy and comfortable it was from the moment we stepped through the door, such friendly staff greeting us and taking coats straight away. A lovely, intimate main dining room with the option... More

Stylish place, great food, helpful staff, good value for lunch or pre theatre. The chef is very accommodating of dietary requirements. Popular and small so do book in advance.

I really like the Sisters in Kelvingrove... excellent pre-theatre menu for reasonably priced, good quality food. Great atmosphere, nice staff and good parking, makes this one of my top go to restaurants in Glasgow! Check their website or 5pm for prices. You can't go wrong.

For such a classy place, 3 courses for £12 is a great deal, there's only 3 options for each course but for my first time here I decided to do the deal! Was with 4 other friends, midweek lunch didn't require booking but the place is quite small so definitely would book if it was the weekend. Opted for chicken... More

We love the Sisters, never disappoints. Starters were great, mains for us we're the baked ham (always great) and I has the fillet of hake with Shetland mussels, lovely. Shared a deliciously sweet dessert too.

I hadn't booked and it was almost 8pm when I walked in from my adjacent hotel but the welcome was fulsome and accommodating. I'm a fish lover so I was spoiled for choice but the staff were helpful and the mixed tempura was perfect - hake, scallops & scampi with pickled peppers and hand cut chips. Utterly delightful. Poached chargrilled... More
