The board outside claims to offer gluten free food, but often mid week there is none. People come in for gluten free cake and leave. The place is mysteriously quiet. We had brunch this time. Sourdough, with avocado, smoked salmon, and poached eggs. It was...More

Been twice now for brunch and both times the food has been superb !! Even my fiancé who was previously concerned it was all "healthy" food, said his full cooked breakfast was the best he's had. The food is super fresh and beautifully cooked. Staff...More

This was a nice weekend cafe but it does not have a large menu!! It had one starter.... soup... and only three mains. The food was nice but not exceptional. There appeared to be more workers than customers therefore the service was good.

Visited yesterday using an Itison voucher. Lovely, friend welcome, and promptly seated with menus brought over straight away. Although not many people in, still early as only 9.20am, it still had a nice vibe. We both opted for the fully cooked breakfast which is the...More

We had a voucher for dinner but didn't realise until we had booked for lunch. Luckily they were very obliging and accommodated us anyway. We shared a gluten free pasta dish that was extremely tasty - with garlic, chilli and tomato, and a bowl of...More

Description
Down To Earth Organic Kitchen is Scotland's first 100% organic restaurant. We believe in a flexitarian lifestyle for all to enjoy. Our idea at Down to Earth is brought on by the lack of fresh locally sourced, organic food and cold-pressed juices. We are proud to say that we will be the first all organic restaurant in Glasgow. Our goal is not just to sell juices and food but to educate each customer who comes through the door and give them the insight we feel is vital for optimised health. Next year we will obtain planning permission to build a greenhouse where which we will grow all our own organic produce. Along with the development of two wind turbines, this will give an immaculate stance on our dedication and faith to this sector and sustainable living. We believe in supporting local, regional food and building relationships with independent farmers and suppliers to ensure we know where your food comes from. All fish, poultry and meat sourced is local and wild. We support the concept of use, recycle, reuse. That’s why all of our packaging is fully biodegradable, the wood we use in-store is reclaimed or recycled and everything is 100% Organic.
