La Lantera is an individual Italian Restaurant that has been in the same family for nearly 50 years. Located in a basement of a property in Hope Street you get a... More

A visit to Scotland for Hogmonay but with an Italian flavour. Scottish beef, all the trimmings, and fantastic atmosphere.

Picked this restaurant for it's central location to catch up with some friends that we hadn't seen for ages. Good service upon arrival and throughout meal. I had Involtini di Salmone (smoked salmon and prawns) for starter and Risotto Mari e Monti for my main (starter portion size). I throughly enjoyed both, very tasty. My companions also greatly enjoyed their... More

I went for the salsiccia and bean starter which was really flavoursome and, for a starter, was a good sized portion. For main I went for the halibut topped with lobster tail with mashed potato and scampi... More
