After reading all of the great reviews I decided to visit Koolba. It was nice, but I felt like there was something missing. Starters were fantastic but overall it was let down by the main courses which were lacking in flavour and spice. Would try them again.

An IIndian restaurant with a Persian twist. Service efficient and friendly. Food tasty. Menu easy to choose from. Seating comfortable. Portions reasonable.

We had a birthday celebration dinner here a few days ago. The food was top class - every single dish was superb. It was also excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

Interesting menu with choice of Indian and Persian dishes. I recommend the skewers. Two course lunch on a Saturday for amazingly cheap price! The decor and the music were great.

Last minute booking and managed to get a good table. Staff attentive and friendly. Unfortunately specials were sold out (actually a good sign as specials should sell out). Wine and beer selection was good. Reasonably priced. Would go back.

Took a work party of 14 out with a sense of dread at the prospect of being rushed through a dinner in order to free up the table for the usual number of drunks who digest Indian food after a night on the beer. Nothing could have been further from the truth. The restaurant was delightful, very relaxed and the... More

Went for dinner on Friday night, this was our second time there. It didn't disappoint. Pakora packed full of flavour and the raita...mains of chicken kebab and butter chicken sublime and I don't know how they get their naan so light and fluffy. Cannot recommend highly enough.

KoolBa is a warm, modern, and inviting authentic Indian restaurant in Glasgow, located in the heart of the Merchant City. We have worked hard and KoolBa has now become synonymous with quality Indian and Persian cuisine. We have achieved this with our commitment to using the best local produce, fresh herbs, carefully selected whole spices, but above all offering genuine appreciation and care to all of our customers. We are committed to providing freshly made to order dishes to Glasgow's diners. Some customers enjoy switching between our Indian and Persian dishes with each course, and in particular, many of our regular diners recommend our homemade chicken pakora as a firm favourite, along with freshly made peshwari naan. Open for Merchant City Festival from 20/07 Monday Noon till the end of July!
