Great sea food, not an endless menu so they focus on doing the items they have very well using fresh ingredients sourced that day

Despite not prebooking we were squeezed in (literally!) at the bar. What a bustling little restaurant professionally and efficiently run. We chose four starters to share, all of which were absolutely delicious! The crab cakes and scallops were especially good and we will definitely be back for more. Very reasonably priced and a brilliant location too. Well done!

Early dinner prior to going to a show at the nearby SEC Hydro. Bright lively service provided in mezzanine table – this place is tiny and uses the limited space most effectively with "original" bench tables. Our starters included squat lobster, seared scallops and the platter of smoked fish and these set us off well for the main course although... More

Popped in for lunch and managed to get seats at the bar. The popularity of this place speaks for itself. Tuesday lunchtime - full. If you are looking for fine dining in a padded armchair forget the Crabshakk. It is urban chic and perhaps not the most comfortable of seating but the food makes up for it. An impressive standard... Cramped seating.Good ,efficient service.Loved My crab cakes, husband loved his mussels and child liked his scallops with anchovies.I was quite disappointed with my spaghetti vongole as it lacked flavour and was on the dry side.Maybe more olive oil? I will order the bisque during my next visit.

We have been going to crabshakk for a while. Our favourite is the scallops. We ordered many of the specials, and as usual the scallops on top. The large scallops, for £17.95, were six. We have been on numerous times and they always have been 10-11+. We asked the waitress whether this was normal, and she said yes. We then... More

Before finnieston became populated by long-bearded, tight-jeaned, metrosexual hipsters pretending to fight against the corporate machine by getting involved in the food service industry (rant over) - there was Crabshakk. Lunch today - first time I've been back in a few years - proves it still holds as a marker of excellence. You can excuse the cramped setting (cramped by... More

We got the best seats in the house having booked in advance - nice table at a booth upstairs with plenty of room. But some people downstairs were eating off tiny little planks of wood suspended in the air and I presume being passed off as "tables". I ordered the whole crab but wouldn't do it again. Was served cold... More

Lovely seafood, lovely staff, made a really special night even more special! Queenie scollops and the Monkfish Scampi are the two best things I've eaten here! Really recommend.

Small but very nice place. Good sized portions, nice wine, seafood is amazing. We had the queenies which were baby scallops, and they didn't have any clams left for vongole so they made us a lobster linguine instead.
