I was meeting an old friend whose travel schedule happened to overlap with mine in Glasgow. She chose the venue pretty much at random but hit upon a great choice. We had a couple of beers in the very pleasant bar before moving through to...More

Recommended! Had a lovely stake dinner here a couple of days ago with my boyfriend. Delicious, juicy stake, friendly and helpful staff. The only thing is that it is a little bit far from the center, but there is a bus stop right on the...More

I was looking forward to this meal after a recommendation from a friend, however I was very disappointed. We had scallops for a starter course and they were cold in the middle and obviously undercooked. My steak, which was ordered medium rare, arrived medium-well to...More

We found the butcher shop by accident and will definitely be back. The steak was the best we have ever tasted, cooked perfectly, delicious. The service was also the best we have experienced, brilliant. Highly recommend.

as it was my first time trying steak, I was unsure where to start with options. The staff were really helpful in informing what I would like best, and what I got was definitely above expectations! Although pricey I would definitely return

Real mixed bag in March. Based on our experience, the team does not appear to look at reservations made through the 5pm website on a Sunday. Best to call the BS in advance to ensure a place. Standing around for 20 minutes with a noisy...More

Recently returned to the Butchershop after a four year absence. During the interval they have implemented a hustle you out the door policy. The food is still above average with above average prices but you are also told when to leave. Not a favorite Glasgow...More
