Having visited the Bradford branch, which was very, very good, I was expecting a similar experience. Sadly, the Glasgow experience was, at best, average. The service was good, the quality of food reasonable, but there was little taste in the food and bland. It was busy with a good mix of crowd, but not a patch on the Bradford branch.

All the curries should be Desi and should be able to order anything off the menu. We ordered the family naan which... More

Having been to a few other Akbar restaurants I had high hopes that the food would be as good as those. I was not disappointed, the lamb chops starter were very tender and juicy and had no burnt parts which you usually get. For my main course I had the palak ghosht and this was cooked perfectly and the lamb... More

This was one of the best Indian food I had in a long time. Delicious. I would move to Glasgow just to become a regular.
