Arrived late in Glasgow last night, so shot round to Blackfriars. Downstairs there was a comedy night, great atmosphere and then upstairs later and live band playing. Staff very friendly, great Gin Menu and food looked yummy. Definitely a lively place to be, just opposite...More

I often visit this place when in Glasgow. This is a typical British pub with options of local food such as haggis and black puddings. You would get variety of pales from light to dark on lager. Busy on weekends and Tuesdays when it offers...More

Small friendly pub that sells a good variety of food at a reasonable price in the Merchant City. Staff are really friendly and clear tables quickly. We had the Rose Wine and quite enjoyed it. The Nachos were great, freshly diced Tomato in the salsa....More

Came here for a drink on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Decent range of beers. Small terrace but you can only use it if you can get a table due to local rules.

Description
We serve what we love - quality beers from around the world and high-calibre home-cooking.

We also have a passion for live music and regularly play host to some of the most talented bands in Scotland (and occasionally from farther afield).

But most importantly, we believe in a high standard of customer service - a welcoming atmosphere, attentiveness and of course, getting your pint in a timely manner (we know you're thirsty)!
