Everything was just lovely. I was so happy to see nut roast on the menu but also a but apprehensive as in my experience few places can do it justice. This one was really delicious. Looking forward to another visit.

Wonderful setting, beautiful decor and lovely staff. I was there for lunch and it was delightful. A beautifully thought out menu which is as appealing to the eye as it is to the tastebuds! The diningroom was not even half full so it was quiet...More

Food interesting and flavourful whilst the wines chosen by the entertaining French sommelier were an education for us. Of note, the level of service throughout the hotel and the manner of its delivery set a standard that other companies would do well to aspire to.
We had a wonderful dinner at the Hotel du Vin. The food was truly outstanding and absolutely beautifully presented. Lovely attentive service too. Particularly enjoyed the venison with chocolate, and the peanut butter parfait. Quite pricey - but what a treat.
