I visited with my daughter for her birthday. Had never been there before and wanted a change from our normal eateries. Food was very good - we had Market Menu which I would say was reasonably priced. Soup followed by Fish & Chips. Excellent bread served with the soup. We were too full unfortunately for a dessert. Would have liked... More

I popped in here last Saturday and was impressed with the comfortable if not somewhat plain surroundings. Staff were attentive and service was promptly delivered.l ordered soup which was nice ,unfortunately it came with only one small piece of bread. I had fish and chips to follow ,nice but not anything special. I ordered coffee which came with a tiny... More

I met a colleague here for lunch and it was my first visit but will not be my last. The restaurant is small and quiet around a good bar. We had main courses of grilled fillet of cod with dauphinoise potatoes and spinach - the fish was fresh and perfectly cooked as were the potatoes and spinach. My colleague had... More

Been into the Pipers' Tryst previously for afternoon coffee so decided to book for lunch with our friends who had travelled up from Prestwick. We were warmly greeted by Kirsty and shown to our table. Water and tasty fresh bread was offered whilst we perused the market menu and the a la carte menu. Good choice of wines at reasonable... More

We had a lovely stay at The Pipers Tryst. It is spotlessly clean, the staff are very helpful and always smiling. The food was excellent, yum yum. Thank you for your wonderful comments. I'm happy you enjoyed your stay with us, and the Scottish produce we proved, something which we pride ourselves on. I apologise for the problem with our boiler and the noise it produced, however i am glad this did not dampen your stay. We hope to have you stay with us again. More
