Our group was staying at the attached hotel so made this our first of two dinners in Inverness. Solid menu, well prepared, just lacks that extra spark. Bar is worth checking out with very large selection of limited Scotches and Gins.

We have eaten here so often we have a discount card that allows us something every third time and next time we are due a free bottle of wine with our meal. We nearly always are attending Eden Court and so have the pre-theatre menu and we have yet to be disappointed or even have the same course repeated on... More

Wonderful meal had on a reasonably quieter Friday in Contrast. We have been dining here for over 4 years and have never been disappointed with our experience. Had a drink in the bar area whilst waiting for table, only negative of the evening was the lack of cocktail menu available initially and had to order "blind". Our starters were wonderful,... More

Friday night 7.30 table booking for 4...arrived just after 7pm left coats at reception then sat in the smart bar area for an aperitif or two...nobody seemed interested until we pointed out we would like a drink. The food was very good and well presented...but choosing ,with the approval of our waitress,to have coffee and liquers in the piano bar... More

First class meal and service : Food quality excellent and staff very attentive. My only quibble would be that it was overpriced. Not likely to return simply because of that.

Had my 1st visit to Contrast recently. Liked the ambience in the place, bar would be pleasant to sit and have a drink with friends. Went for the early evening dinner. The food was very tasty but I have to say I was disappointed with the main. I ordered grilled chicken and it came with a small portion of colslaw... More

A group of 6 of us headed up to Inverness and the pre-theatre menu seemed perfect before we hit Eden Court. Menu price looked good and with cocktails on offer as well all seemed perfect. Now don't get me wrong a pre-theatre menu doesn't want to be filling you up to the point of explosion when you are heading off... More

Restaurant looks nice, and staff are friendly and attentive. We were there for the pre-theatre, and started with the crab cakes which were more potato than anything else. Pretty tasteless, with no dip/sauce. The main course tomato risotto was better. Overall it was fine, but not spectacular. More style over substance.
