Good for a cup of tea and a scone. Been a couple of times also to get a takeaway (bacon roll etc) and while the service isn't always the best, the girls behind the counter are often distracted and chatting amongst each other which can sometimes be off-putting when you are sitting near them. Overall a lovely wee cafe with... More

Too long is the answer. Between appointments with 25 minutes to spare I popped in here for a scone and latte. I thought the cafe looked clean and pretty and I was looking forward to having a quick look at the morning paper while enjoying my coffee. Sadly after 20 minutes and no coffee or scone I had to leave.... More

It has been a few years since I last visited Inverness but remembered this wee Cafe from last visit makes a lovely Bacon roll. Well furnished and nice and warm in a Scottish winter.

Stopped here after a couple of hours walking around Inverness. Enjoyed our tea, and cake. Staff extremely pleasant. Nice to sit outside the cafe, as it's in the indoor market, so it wasn't cold. Would come back again.

I went to this cafe for a quick snack. It's a quite and small cafe in the Inverness Victorian Market. I noticed it as it was quite busy and had a decent choice of desserts :-) Bacon and sausage roll + regular tea with milk + Blackwell tart cost me just under £6. It's a bargain, right? :-) Food was... Delicious scones, although cream was of skooshy variety rather than clotted. In fairness, it did not say clotted. Nice coffee and good atmosphere inside or out in arcade. Reasonable cost.

Despite only a couple of other customers in the cafe, there were dirty plates and cups and food waste on almost every table. We cleared some of the muck to one side so we could sit down. When the waitress finally took our order, she took the dirty dishes and moved them to the table next to us! Then she... More

Nice little cafe with an outside eating area, inside ground floor and also an inside gallery area with very steep steps that I doubt conform with building regulations. It was unclear as to how we were to get our food and eventually after asking were told that it was table service. The menu was the usual favourites and service was... More

We visited as we had some time to kill and found that the speedy staff serve an excellent cup of coffee and a good range of home made cakes.
