We were in Fort William and needed somewhere to go for a quick lunch as we were tied for time having to get our coach in 45 mins. We walked into this establishment and I think the friendly lady behind the bar realised we were...More

We just had a drink in here on a wet cold January day. The lady behind the bar was very polite and friendly despite being poorly. There is a welcoming log burning fire. Will definitely visit again.

Nothing fresh about the food and the staff were not interested in providing service. We thought maybe because it was just after Christmas - but if you can’t be bothered, don’t take our money! This pub was our 2nd home in the 90’s, there was...More

On a stormy night, we found good whisky, good beer, and hearty Scottish fare to warm us for the walk back to our hotel. Maria was delightfully helpful with menu suggestions (Try the Balmoral chicken!) and we enjoyed a relaxing evening. Thanks to Barry, our...More

The pub here is lovely & welcoming, it has a lovely atmosphere & friendly staff. Food is very basic & the kids menu is pretty awful; chicken nuggets, fish fingers, everything with chips. The quality of adult food isn't great nor is it cheap. The...More

We went in on a Monday night to find another couple eating and a silent man propping up the bar. Apart from this it was deserted. This was our first mistake. We were greated by the bar lady and told that they had NO real...More

Will visiting Fort William and scouring the area for music, we found that this establishment posts their weekly entertainment outside, which was helpful. We returned on the night that interested us and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Good list of available brews and acceptable food...More

Really good meals in the restaurant upstairs, large portions, comfy clean seating, table service. If you're lucky you'll get a view of the water too. Friendly staff quick to clear tables for customers waiting on the stairs.

We popped in here during a tour stop off. We ordered the jacket potato with tuna/mayo and it was a lukewarm microwave job and pretty bland. Staff were friendly and accommodating despite the busy period.

Located in the centre of Fort Wiliam's pedestrianised High Street, The Ben Nevis Bar and Restaurant is one of Fort William's best pubs serving good food all day and a terrific range of beers and spirits. We stock two regular cask-conditioned ales in Fort William On street level our comfortable lounge bar has leather sofas and easy-chairs to relax in after a day's activities. Our outside deck offers amazing views of Loch Linnhe and the Ardgour Hills and is a great place to hang out on a sunny evening. Upstairs we have a spacious restaurant serving a wide variety of home-cooked dishes which include lots of local sea-food, beef and venison. try our home-made burgers and a freshly-prepared, healthy side salad... We do great Thai curries according to some of our local regulars!
