Couldn't resist and it was raining so we ate in with a thick milkshake each. Highlight of every visit up here and as the only non veggies in the family, it's a MUST!

How do you title a review for a chipper? No idea, but had a decent fish supper here - albeit a little more expensive than back home a hundred miles south.

We often take a drive through to Nairn purely for a fish supper to eat down by the harbour and have never been disappointed by The Dolphin. Chips fresh and not greasy. Fish beautifully cooked and light crispy batter. Always!!

Really nice chips and great mushy peas, very tasty and hot. Service was a bit slow though considering it was a fairly quiet Tuesday lunchtime

We had a takeaway from The Dolphin in late January and really enjoyed them. The chips were hot, fresh and very tasty and the sausage and scampi were also good. Big portions too so would come back and use this chip shop if in the area.

Three of us visited here while working in the area, black pudding supper was quite tasty with only a few chips, the other lads both had fish suppers which they said were awful, one had gravy which was bisto.

So background, I grew up the son of a truck driver. Spent most of my childhood in that truck and travelled all over. Chip shops and truck shops along with a good bakery for a pie were a staple. This is the best chip shop I've ever been to and luckily it's the local. I'll happily drive 15 minutes past... More
