This pub felt welcoming upon entry. Smiles on the faces of staff, friendly and helpful explaining the options on the menu. Good food and ready accommodation for special dietary requests. Relaxing atmosphere and very hospitable people.

We visited as a small group & food was variable. Starters were generally good but mains less than satisfactory. Portion sizes also varied as did value for money. Overall it was a disappointing visit

Nice pub, basically set up for dining. Good beers and good solid cooking. Burger with chorizo, cheddar & sweet chilli sauce was excellent.

Dogs are really welcome in the bar, not the restaurant. We never found it a problem at all, in fact the bar was quieter and cooler as it has French doors to the patio.
