Visit the coffee shop at Johnstons of Elgin at least every couple of months. Food is always delicious, staff very well mannered and the cakes are a good size. There's nothing worse than a cake that looks like it's been cut with a joiners plane (cutting tool) if you manage to visit on a sunny day sitting outside is delightfully... More

This cafe is one of the best places for lunch, or tea, in the Elgin area. It's always very busy, but we have never had to wait for a table in the bright and comfortable conservatory part of the restaurant. The food is freshly made and the menu is quite extensive for cafe fare. Last time we were there my... More

A busy, vibrant cafe offering a good range of snacks and light meals. Although it's always busy, the staff are great and get you seated quickly.

The staff were very friendly and efficient, nothing was too much trouble. Food was lovely and fresh but a little expensive. Portions are large so don't be afraid to ask if they do half portions. Although the cafe was busy the staff did not pressure us into ordering or eating quickly. Great experience all round.

To be honest nothing special. Had decent cup of coffee and lemon poppy seed cake. Friends had tea and scones felt the butter and jam potions a bit megre, making the eating of them rather dry. Nice decor thou and very clean. Nice cake selection. Busy and lively.

Was there 14th March for dinner (lunch time) with my wife and our 2 boys. The café is really nice, menu has plenty selection and variety on it for the kids too, food was tasty and the staff were very helpful with the choices available for our 8 month old who suffers badly with food allergies. They gave us some... More

The soup here is always delicious. Ir gets very busy so worth arriving early or booking to make sure you don't have to wait for a table.
