Finally got to go here. So wished we'd went sooner. Great rustic wee place just how I'd imagined it exactly what I expected. Food was really good and portion sizes were very generous. Food was also warm which gave you plenty of time to relax...More

Thank you for giving me a reason not to come back ever again. I will not be telling my friends to come here either. Terrible service. The customer is always right.

Food was lovely here but the portions are a bit on the small side for the price. lovely relaxing atmosphere with tables outside if the weather is nice. Smiley friendly staff too. Worth stopping in for a drink or bite to eat

We visited the ship inn for lunch, but were disappointed ,the service was slow and not a smile from the staff, the food was reasonable ,but no atmosphere,it has character but no charm. The prices were about the same as you would pay in a good hotel.

Couples dinner. Relaxed atmosphere on a reasonably busy on a Saturday night. Had the steak pie (Big Wan), very tasty, pretty quick and friendly service. Would go back again.

Visited here with my dad and we both had a small "wee yin" steak pie. The description which also said it was not so small was accurate. The steak pie was the best I've had in many years. The Ship Inn dates back to the...More

Hi there, I just rang to check. As they are a family run business they are closed for Christmas Day. It's only one of 2 days that they are closed in the whole year.
