A regular stop, for us after a dog walk. Good choice of soup and sandwiches - including my favourite of cream cheese and date which isn't often offered at cafes. And a marvellous selection of cake made by volunteers so the choice always changes. Add to it the friendly staff and you see why we are regular visitors
Staffed by very helpful and friendly people. Most of them Volunteers giving their time to help fund Cornhill hospice. Lovely light lunch, soup and sandwiches or toasties, delicious scones and coffee. Situated in a woodland walk.plenty of parking. It's a must visit. We will be back soon.
Live local and always walk the dogs in Quarrymill, finally had a weekday off and the wife and I had lunch there with the dogs sitting and watching (we sat outside) Lovely sandwich, cake and tea.
When I was a boy in Northern Ireland and my nan was looking after me, she would take me to a tea shop to meet her friends for lunch. There I would have an "egg n onion" sandwich in floppy white bread and a lemonade. The people in there fell into two age categories. 4 and under or 60 plus.... More
This is a regular stop for me for a great home made bowl of soup and home baking. The tablet sold in the front shop is thee best around. Staff or volunteers always make you welcome and the service is excellent. Great fundraising for McMillan.
Various friends and I have stopped off here several times when out walking. Decent coffee with a free top up. Nice cakes and traybakes. I've had soup here too which was lovely. Outdoor seating both in the shade and in sun. Dogs are welcome outside. Also has a little gift shop in the vestibule to the cafe, some nice bits... More
This is a lovely wee place run by McMillan Cancer Supporters, who are always so friendly and produce a good standard of quality fresh produce and you can buy gifts in the shop.
