I had the absolute pleasure of visiting Small Talk in Perth today. I had the homemade oxtail soup and a sandwich of roast beef and horseradish. An Americano with hot milk on the side as well. To say this was an excellent lunch is a huge understatement. The oxtail soup is the best I have ever tasted bar none. Full... More

Stopped by Small Talk on Saturday for early lunchtime food and it is not all Formica and fast food. What a good choice we made, every single item of food was absolutely delicious. The proprietor, George and his staff were friendly and lots of chat and banter ensued, all the while maintaining a professional manner, encouraged by us.

We went into this cafe as it was recommended to us. I'm so glad we did as we both thoroughly enjoyed our soup and a half sandwich deal. Their soup was absolutely delicious and the half sandwich had a lot of filling and was really tasty. The service was quick and very friendly. Will definitely be back

Lovely traditional old fashion tearoom. Everything is homemade and delicious and fresh. Soups very tasty and carrot cake has got to be the best I've ever tasted. It's so good I often buy a couple of slices to takeaway and enjoy later at home. Staff are always very friendly and service excellent.

Everything about Small Talk is BIG except the price; on a number of occasions now, I have been there and it only gets better - there are so many locals using the restaurant and reserving the tables for lunches by telephone, it is a must that you telephone to avoid disappointment. The food is so fresh and is sourced from... More

Revisited this wonderful tea-shop-style restaurant once again this Saturday. November the Fifth, Bonfire Night looming, Guy Faulks and all that had made Perth as busy as we've come across it for a while. As for Small Talk, it wasn't even lunchtime and the place, once again, was almost full. But, once again, we were found two places quickly and chose... More
