Love the option to pop in and have very good gluten free fish and chips any time the shop is open. One of the first to offer this option and still one of the best.

Hadn't had occasion to call in here for several years, but it is still the excellent place that I remember it to be. First class. Great fish suppers, and good value too.

Well worth the wait - a sign of good food. A must for us every visit. Quality is quite outstanding - not 'just' fish and chips

Really friendly staff and not your average greasy fish & chip shop choice. Very humbling whilst waiting to read about all the money they have raised for charities in one year. Oh - and the food was great too!!

OK - Not a restaurant but a take away chippy which I would not normally review. Have to say I thought the best F&C came from Lancashire but this 'Plaice" is in my top 2 chippies. Probably the best chips I've had and the fish was also superb. Crisp batter, good portion, very tasty and fish did not go soggy... More

The Plaice to Be has the best fish and chips I have ever had. Stopped in Pitlochry with a tour group and it was recommended to us. Fast service and hot and fresh food. Not much seating but there are about 4 stools so you can sit and face the outside while grabbing a quick bite to eat. A must... More

Although it's normally packed you won't stand in line long as this place [plaice] cranks out the orders at light speed.

You will always hear people say that they have found the best fish and chips in Scotland. Well stop searching cos this is the place to be. Fish and chips of the highest standard. Just love this for a special wee treat after hillwalking in gorgeous Pitlochry.

A superb fish and chip shop with all good cooked to order using quality ingredients. The fish is superb and the plaice to be unusual in having a sustainability policy. Worth a visit if you like quality fish and chips.

My partner and I stopped in Pitlockry for a tour and we stumbled upon The Plaice to Be. Honest to God it was the best fish and chips I've had in a LONG time. So so good. When I go back to Scotland next I definitely plan on going back here!!
