My boyfriend and I visited Pitlochry in January this year. After a long day of walking and wandering we went to this restaurant for an early dinner and it was absolutely the best Indian meal either of us had ever had. From the off the waiters were warm, welcoming and timed their service to perfection. We had a couple of... More

Felt a bit dated but welcoming. House wine (red) was good and the chicken itself was good. Ordered a madras style balti and have to say it was very average - felt like a generic sauce that just had extra chilli in it and it didn't have any subtlety of flavour that made it taste like a madras. Certainly it... More

Sixteen of us had a good Indian meal, at the Prince of India. We were served a selection of dishes, mainly vegetarian as many of our party were vegetarians and to in the party had non Indian food , as they were non curry eaters. The food was excellent, the staff were excellent, full of attention to our parties needs,... More

Visited on a cold November evening hoping for a nice meal as I've always thought it looked good from the outside, not to be though! Impersonal service and very poor food, tasteless and uninteresting, very disappointed.

Husband and I visited this restaurant after spending a day shopping in Pitlochry! Waiter made a recommendation to my husband as he was undecided and he was completely satisfied with the choice - chicken bhoona; not too spicy but flavor fab. I tried the jalfrezi and that was spicy and delicious. Chicken and vegetable pakora great too. If returning to... More

Four of us visited here for the first time recently. It was very quiet for a Friday night. The portions of chicken pakora were huge, almost enough for two! We all enjoyed our main choices, in fact one of the best chicken tikka curries I have had! The nan bread was also huge. Staff were pleasant and would definitely return.
