It’s closed down permanently! Tried to order take away over Christmas and the website said it wasn’t available. When we drove by, the restaurant was closed with a skip outside and much of the signage was ripped off. Sad to see it go!

We paid £39 each for a lesson At the cook School. Not very good value. They didn't even offer a drink of water. Everything was very rushed. Would not recommend

This was our first visit, and quite a nice find. The food is cooked in an open kitchen, and there was a really good menu, including good vegetarian options. The price for 4, with soft drinks, poppadums and naan bread was under £40, and the...More

Having stopped for lunch, we were delighted with the choice/quality and speed of service. In addition, the chicken tikka chasni which I had was stunning; flavoursome and an ample portion to see me through until dinner. Moreover, the lunch menu was exceptionally good value for...More

Attended the cook school pakora making class and would recommend this experience to anyone. Very interesting and hands on because you get to make your own, take it home and then have a lovely meal.

Had dropped in following visit to the cinema. Had looked online before going out and it looked like it was closed, however when parking near another eatery saw that it was in fact open on another site. Not quite as good as our local Indian...More

Had been to the restaurant a couple of times and found the food to be very good although the ambience isn't all that great situated as it is in a retail park. Decided to try the cook school and this was a really worthwhile experience...More

The Ashoka Shak in Linwood was the first Ashoka Shak to open back in 2001, and the stylish, sassy Indian diner has been drawing locals back time and time again for their delicious curries and spicy sharing platters. Located in the Phoenix Leisure Park, close to the Glasgow airport, the restaurant has a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere and an extensive menu offering everything from classic curries to fish and chips. We love the Tandoori Mixed Grill with tandoori chicken, chicken tikka, pather kebabs, lamp chops and barbecued king prawns; the Salmon Tikka marinated in yoghurt and spices, barbecued and served with masala mint chutney; and the Lamb Rogan Josh curry cooked in a rich sauce with tomatoes and cream.
